What we keep, and why.

This is what phlux.com and the MOTHERWOULD portal store about you, who else touches it, how long we keep it, and how to get it back or have it deleted. It is written to be read.
On the site
On your first visit we store an anonymous id, the campaign parameters in the link you arrived from, the referring page and your device type, in your browser and in our database, so we know which post brought you here. It contains no name and no email. If you send a message through the Contact page, we store your name, email and message so we can reply, and we email a copy to phlux@phlux.com. If you buy, Stripe sends us your email, your name if you gave it, the plan you chose, the promotion code if any, and the payment status. We never see or store your card number.
In the MOTHERWOULD portal
The portal holds your journal entries in your own words, what you noticed happening in you and where you felt it, your practice and whether you marked it done each day, your daily readings, your birth date, birth time and birth place for the astrology, your phone number and SMS consent if you choose to give them, your private messages, and your session dates, recordings and notes. This is sensitive information about your body and inner life. No other member can see it. PHLUX can, to do the work. We do not sell it, share it for advertising, or use it to train models for anyone else.
Speaking to the portal
When you tap Speak, your phone or computer turns your voice into text on the device itself. No audio recording leaves your device or reaches us. The text is what we keep when you choose Save.
Automated processing and daily readings
The text you enter is sent to an AI model to sort it into three editable fields: what happened, what you noticed happening in you, and where you felt it. The model does not score you or give advice. Your daily readings are generated by PHLUX’s separate astrology service from your birth data and recent journal entries, then returned to this portal. The providers process the information to provide these functions and do not use it to train public models.
Texts and emails
We email you a sign-in link when you ask for one, a note when PHLUX replies in your thread, and receipts from Stripe. If you give a phone number and explicitly agree, we also send your daily reading and program messages by SMS. You can withdraw SMS consent in your portal settings. Emails go out through our email provider from notify.phlux.com. We do not send marketing email from this site unless you ask for it.
How long
Your portal record stays for as long as we run the portal, so you can come back to it. We will give at least 90 days’ notice before retiring the portal and provide a copy of your record first. Contact messages are kept for two years. Site visit data is kept for 26 months. If you ask us to delete your portal record, we delete it within 30 days, except payment records we must keep for tax and accounting, which we keep for seven years.
Analytics and cookies
We use analytics to see which posts bring people here. Tracking pixels and analytics cookies load only after you accept in the consent bar where one is shown. If you decline, we still receive cookieless counts of page views and no advertising identifiers are set. The MOTHERWOULD pages set no advertising cookies.
Who else touches it
Stripe for payments. Our hosting and database provider, which runs the portal on our behalf. The AI model provider, which sorts journal text. PHLUX’s astrology service, which creates the daily reading. Our SMS and email providers, for messages you agreed to receive. Each holds only what it needs to do its job and is bound to keep it confidential.
IDX
For IDX members, the bot stores what you post in the room and the weight and calorie figures you send it by direct message, for as long as you are a member and for twelve months after you cancel. Your direct-message figures are never shown to the group. Payments run through Stripe and the room runs on Telegram.
Your rights
Write to phlux@phlux.com to see, correct, export or delete what we hold about you. We answer within 30 days. If you are in California, you have these rights under the CCPA; if you are in the EU or UK, under the GDPR. We do not sell personal information.
